IT IS BETTER IN PERSON.
Karting on TV looks small. Trackside it is anything but: engines you feel in your chest, three-wide into turn one, and finishes decided by inches. Here is what a Rhythm & Race day delivers.

Tight packs of evenly matched karts, real overtakes, and last-lap drama in nearly every class.

From 5-year-olds in Kid Karts to masters racers over 35. A full day of variety, never the same race twice.

Trophies handed out trackside after the finals. Championship points on the line at every round.

Walk among the karts between sessions. Talk to drivers and crews. See how a race team actually works.
Morning Warm-Ups
To The Podium.
Drivers check in and the first classes head out for practice. A quiet, easy time to walk the paddock and see the karts up close.
The clock starts mattering. Qualifying sets the grid, then heat races sort the field for the finals. The racing gets real here.
A break in the action, food on site, and the youngest racers take the track for their own practice, heat, and final.
The main event. Every class runs its final, championship points are on the line, and trophies are handed out trackside. If you only catch part of the day, catch this.
Exact times vary by round. Live timing screens run all day, and the full session order for each round is posted on the live timing page.

A Kart Race?
Competitive karting is split into classes so every driver races people their own age, weight, and machinery. That is why the fields are so close. Here is the quick version, so the racing makes sense the moment you walk in.
Lightweight engines that scream to high RPM. The KA, Rotax, TAG, and Shifter classes. The sharpest sound and the rawest speed on track.
The Briggs LO206 engine, sealed so every kart is equal. The most popular ladder in American karting, and the easiest way for a family to get started.
MCK's own CRG rental karts. The same machines you can book any open day, raced for real championship points in the Rental classes.
First helmet, first laps. Small, slow, and closely supervised. This is where almost every MCK racer started.
The first taste of real wheel-to-wheel racing. Smaller engines, but full-on competition and surprisingly close finishes.
Teenagers on full-power karts. Lap times get serious, the passing gets brave, and the talent at the front is genuinely impressive.
The fastest karts on the property and the deepest fields of the day. Adult drivers, the closest racing, the loudest engines.
Veteran racers who never slowed down. Senior-level speed with a masters-only podium to chase.
No kart of your own needed. The Rental class races the championship on MCK's CRG rental karts, one class for 2026. The friendliest way into the series.
Watching with a driver in mind? The Class Explorer takes an age and a weight and shows every class a driver is eligible for, all 19 of them, plus what comes next as they grow.
