Senior 206 Heavy
Adult LO206, heavy weight.
Senior 206 Heavy is the higher-weight adult LO206 class, so larger drivers race a fair field of similarly matched competitors on the same sealed four-stroke engine.
Adult drivers 15 and up at a higher combined weight. The weight split exists so that the LO206's close, skill-based racing stays fair across different driver sizes.
Like every 206 class, Senior 206 Heavy runs the sealed Briggs LO206 four-stroke. The engine is identical to the Medium class; the difference is the minimum weight the package must meet.
Senior 206 Heavy delivers the same close, budget-blind racing the LO206 is known for, among drivers carrying a similar weight. It is grassroots adult racing done right.
See every class side by side, and find the one that fits a driver by age and weight, in the Class Explorer.
Who should race Senior 206 Heavy instead of Medium?
The two classes are split by minimum combined weight of driver and kart. Heavier drivers race Senior 206 Heavy so the field is matched fairly, since a lighter package would otherwise accelerate harder.
Does Senior 206 Heavy use a different engine?
No. Senior 206 Heavy runs the same sealed Briggs LO206 four-stroke as every other 206 class. Only the weight minimum differs.
